A history sits on a throne
of shredded roses as shed skin hangs to the wind, wailing with fury. Fiery sand, bent for temples. Tempted by the sea, a man drowns a nation, offers a blanket for shivers whispered by candlelight. Inside a sarcophagus an old body squirms, tears reigniting the acid, a battle in the water. Waves thrashing, hungry for what’s theirs.
